Programs Put on by PTA

 

 

We are proud to hold several school programs for the students during the school year. 

Please check back for upcoming programs we are arranging throughout the school year!

 

Fall 2024 Programs:

 

★ Friday, September 27th - Rock Your School Day

○ School-wide celebration of hands-on learning

○ Outside student-only assembly to kick off the day of fun, themed and interactive learning

 

TBD - Frisco Community Parade CANCELED DUE TO DOWNTOWN CONSTRUCTION!

○ Student representatives rode on and walked alongside the school float & make signs

○ 2024 Theme to be TBD. School spirit themes are also encouraged

 

Mid November - Angel Tree

○ Check your emails. Teachers send out details and exact information on class angels.

★ November 19th - Storm Science Weather Program

○ Weather Wonders: Discovering the Sky's Secrets

○ The program will take place during the school and be a Staff & Student only assembly

○ They'll talk about tornadoes, hail, lightning, and the weather around us to allow students to understand our natural world and how to prepare for severe weather!

 

December 9th-13th - Penguin Patch Holiday Shopping

○ Students will shop for holiday gifts for family and friends during their lunch period

○ Additionally, Volunteer Sign Up will be posted in the school newsletter and on our Facebook page

 

 

Spring 2025 Programs:

  

Thursday, March 13th - STEAM Carnival

○ An evening filled with fun and interactive learning experiences

○ Enjoyed activities put on by Perot Museum of Nature & Science & SciTech Discovery Center

 

Friday, May 16th - Field Day

○ A day filled with fun for students

○ Students will enjoy time outside running through stations of different activities

 

★ Date TBD - Blood Drive

○ Work with our School Nurse and locate Blood Bank to host a school Blood Drive

○ Opportunity for us to help the community by giving back

 

 

★ Date TBD - Special Outside Vendor Program

○ Work with our Principal & Teacher Leads to bring in a fun and educational program for the student body to enjoy in an assembly.

○ Opportunity for us to encourage an interactive and engaging event for the students to enjoy.

2023-2024

  • "Banana Soup" with Dennis Lee and Nana Puddin' -- This 60-minute show will stir in a ton of fun, a dash of music, award-winning ventriloquism, a pinch of inspiration, a spoonful of audience participation, loads of hilarious puppet characters

 

2022-2023

  • "X-Ray" with Dennis Lee and Nana Puddin' -- An interactive assembly about finding "KINDNESS" ... the treasure that is inside of you! 

2021-2022

  • Drum Cafe Interactive Program -- 2 separate assemblies: K-2 & 3-5 -- Students participates in an interactive drum presentation focused on team-building skills such as collaboration, cooperation, respect, communication, and so much more! -- https://www.drumcafe.com/
